The eastern shore’s Church Hill Theatre will be presenting Ken Ludwig’s The Game’s Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays from November 4 through November 20th. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m., while the Sunday productions are at 2 p.m.
In December of 1936, Broadway star William Gillette, globally admired for his writing and unforgettable portrayal of “Sherlock Holmes,” has invited fellow cast-members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. As the evening progresses, the holiday festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn treacherous. It’s up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before another victim is claimed. The danger and laughter are non-stop in this glittering holiday whodunit.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for members and $10 for students and can be purchased HERE.
